DPI (Dots Per Inch)
A print-resolution measure: how many ink dots fit in one inch of paper.
DPI describes how densely a printer lays down dots on paper. Higher DPI means finer detail in print. 300 DPI is the standard for photos and documents; 600 DPI is used for fine art and small text.
DPI does not affect how an image looks on a screen — screens only use pixels. Set DPI with 300 DPI Photo or Convert DPI.
