PPI (Pixels Per Inch)

The pixel density of a screen or image — the digital counterpart of DPI.

PPI measures pixels per inch on a display or in an image’s metadata. It determines the physical size an image prints at, given its pixel dimensions.

PPI and DPI are often used interchangeably, but strictly: PPI is digital pixels, DPI is printed dots. See DPI.
